Non-profit, charity, pro-bono, and community involvement

The Marley Memorial Foundation is a privately held charitable nonprofit organization that holds various activities throughout the year to raise scholarship money for deserving students to attend the University of Texas at Austin. The Foundation was founded in honor of Sgt. Gerald Wayne Kissling, III, affectionately known as Marley by his friends, a member of the United States Army who died while stationed in Heidelberg, Germany. The Foundation was founded by a number of Marley's friends who grew up in Rockport, Texas and attended the University of Texas. Like Marley, The University holds a special place in many of our hearts and we sought to provide others with the opportunities with which we have been blessed. As such, we hold a number of charitable events throughout the year to raise money for scholarships for young men and women to attend the University in memory of Marley.
